What the hell is going on guys? The most important GUIDELINE of all.....

Remember this is a bit of fun,
To reiterate LM's comments, the guidelines were set by a number of the regulars who recognised that despite the wealth of information on the web, we were still getting challenges (of which I for one was guilty) in respect of aircraft where there was no picture/drawing/3-view available on the web. No problem to those of us who have a multitude of books, but it was unfair on those who did not. So to put everyone on a level playing field, some time back a set of guidelines were posted for comment, and following comments at the time, they were amended and published.

Spook, if this isn't for you then thats fine, but disappointing. But the thread is set as a "friendly competition" and not specifically an education process, although clearly our collective knowledge expands as the thread goes on. If research into types that do not appear on the web is your interest then this really isn't the right forum for you. If however you want to test your id skills with exactly the same information available to you as the rest of us, then this is not a bad place to be!

However, going back to previous comments, I have no problem with the modified Junkers W33 challenge. The W33 is on the net and ultimately the twin engine modification is not difficult to recognise, once of course you've worked out its a W33!

Anyway apologies for this lengthy tone, but it seems we have forgotten what this is all about.

Let's play!
