if you are visual (with obstacles of course as well) at circling MDA surely you can continue visually 'straight in' - ie treat it as a 'cloud break'
Operated to Lanzarote about ten years ago with Lockheed TriStar equipment, occasionally landed on runway 21, didn't seem to have all that much difficulty. Now, if a heavy like an L1011 can do this, what is the exact problem with smaller aircraft?
