Earthquake damage
No significant damage to Christchurch museum. The following is part of email I received from them on 15-9-10.
"Thankfully we are all OK and the buildings were
cleared for use last week. No significant damage to collection objects, just
some racking in one building collapsed. One of our suspended aircraft
suffered some scraping and minor dents on one of its tail booms, but that
can be repaired.
A horrible experience, and the aftershocks continue, although they are
settling down and are mostly in the 3 to 4 richter range. Apparently someone
has produced a T-shirt saying 'I don't get out of bed for anything under 6'."
