The online test is as Crazy Voyager explained, Its basically a 6-7 letter or number code, which will be in the top centre of your screen.
4 options will appear and you have to select the correct one which matches the code above.
for example: RTYHUG:
1) RYTHUG
2) RTYHGU
3) HUGRTY
4) RTYHUG
Answer 4 is the correct option, it is basic, but in the near future the tests at a NATS centre will be horrendously hard!!.
This will have to be completed in 9 seconds, and If I remember there are about 5 questions in each section.
(TIP) Look at the end letters and the front letters of the Code, then scan down quickly at the options and find the matching one!!
In regards to the Online Application, fill it out as best you can and be honest, it states to put down all of your GCSE's or other quals. and it also states to put down the ones you failed on, so just be truthful, my GCSE's were terrible 7 A*-C grades and the rest were D's and E's.
In regards to what to expect, look at the NATS website and that will give you everything you need and search on this forum, their will be current and ex. ATC im sure who will guide you.
