Of all the great airlines that have disappeared in recent years, Ansett is the one I will miss most. I flew with them back in 1993, from Perth to Sydney, when they used to run "Mystery Flights"; it was an A320 - my first A320 flight - to Sydney and what a treat it was; superbly comfortable seats, real glasses, wonderful crews. Coming back, it was a 767- three man crew, three class aircraft, although F class was being used as J Class and the Business Class cabin, for economy; I recall the gate agent smiling as he offered to change my seat assignment to one of the Business Class seats; that was a treat.
