Rather harsh Foghorn. I think it probably had more to do with her long standing association with the company than anything else. She can demonstrate a dedication both to her qulifications and the comany. Learning foreign languages just so she can be allowed to push a cart around for four years whilst working towards her I/R. Nope I am not sure it had to do with her Dad. From what I can see there seems to be little interface between flight deck and recruiting at BA. Simply because the company is too big. A good mate of mine, senior training capt on 747's with BA, said he had no input into the recruiting process when I was looking for a job, and he would have if he could have......if you get my drift.
