And I guess reliability continues to be an issue - today's 0730 delayed to 1025, presumably for an aircraft swap with the inbound DUB at 1000. If the business folk can't rely on the morning outbound, they will use BE for travel, and especially for a day trips.

Shame really. The -72s seemed more reliable, and were much more comfortable. And I'd prefer LCY over LGW any day.

I wonder what incentive RE got from Ronaldsway to operate the -72., and whether removal of that incentive after a year triggered to demise of the -72s. I know one of the reasons was the start of the EI Regional operation, but the -42s appeared well before the examiner-ship process started, with the occasional Air Contractors -72 from time to time.
