BA B757 on the LHR Shuttle service operated into BHD due to a snap strike at BFS (firemen I think I recall) on a couple of occassions. Logan air operated a Busybee F27 on lease (maybe awaiting delivery of ATP) and Hotair (which was linked to British Air Ferries) subleased various Viscounts to Manx, mainly to operate BHD to Man. British Air Ferries also leased a Viscount to Virgin to operate Dublin - LTN with plans for further expansion that never came off. Occassionally maintenance requirements meant the Virgin painted BAF Viscount was replaced at Dub by another of the fleet and then the Virgin one ended up on a Manx flight or two.
Air UK operated F27's into BFS for years on the LBA route - I flew on 3 different ones. G DASI (which I also flew on from Edin to LBA with Air UK) may have operated near the end of the service.
