Tridents at BHD
In the early 1980's I can remember leaving Newtownabbey Court House close to Abbey Centre after covering a case there for the local newspaper. There was a roar, I looked across the Lough and saw a BA Trident going up like a rocket from BHD. I think firemen were on strike at BFS at the time. Tridents could certainly climb and the sensation of being pushed back in your seat at take off was very noticeable.
