Sandown Airport Reprieved ?

"Sandown Airport on the IOW was due to close on the first of October 2010, it will now remain open and the sun will not set at Sandown for some time or maybe never with help from all of us. I have been flying in each weekend as it is the home of Spamfield we should all fight to keep it open. The Café has now moved to the new buildings half way down the runway on the right from runway 23 or left from 05. They still have radio and lots of movements each day.
