We have not been anywhere new for a while....but today we went to Hanley
Hanley (William) Airfield today.....and what a great strip. I rang for PPR and I was asked for my ETA, and I told her that we would be there around 12(ish) the reply was i will put the kettle on.......a very good start.
I got a good brief, which was very helpful.
When we got there there was a nice welcome..and a nice cupper.
We went the closet pub "The Fox" but this was not so good....!!! one star! But there is another pub half a mile up the road so we will try that next time we go!
This strip is very much PPR as they only fly on the 28 day rule. But is well worth a visit.
