Agree with the other post as this time P/UT will count towards the finally PPL hours. However, you will need to have an assessment by the CFI on the flight training and assuming you have not completed the ground exams these will need to be completed with the first one being Air law to allow you to solo. It might be worth checking out the RAF and other services flying clubs for the best flying rates etc. I believe there are a few web sites that can help out and the boys and girls on the forum may also have suitable contacts as well.
