Arik Air is not growing at the moment. From it's peak, it probably has less aircraft operating now. Denim is long gone (with Arik owing $3million USD). "Bravo" (737) is gone. I believe that the only aircraft to arrive in 2010 is the A330, which has flown about 100 total hours. Much of that time has been non-revenue service for proving flights and repositioning.

B737's are getting parked, for lack of crews and the bits that keep them running. Arik's credit is so poor, that some tyre suppliers will not provide service even with cash in hand. They are sick of the games.

CRJ is grounded for brakes (again). The two Q400's are flying routes previously only flown by CRJ / B737.

The competition says that Arik is the best advert they have. Lots of new customers telling the tales of woe at Arik (but you won't read that in "bought and paid for" This Day).

Next month is 4 years of operation. Still no IOSA. Still no ticket sales at the new domestic terminal (a big empty office sits abandoned). Six months have passed without a permanent MD.

Nobody has actually received the advertised 30 on / 30 off. So, good luck with that. I've said it before; pilots are our own worst enemy. They truly will keep coming with nothing more than words, until the day they lock the doors for good.
