Hi guys, I have had my eye on Arik Air and have been following this thread for a while now. Normally I don't engage in forums but I am seriously considering employment with the airline and felt I should get some more information. I have just seen Arik's news on carrying the 5 millionth pax as well as obtaining the Cat 1 Status. They seem to be a rapidly growing and ambitious airline.
Could all the issues noted above not be attributed to growing pains? On an important note, have they actually defaulted on any salary payments as of this time? I ask because although I see the same grievance towards the end of every month regarding payment of salaries, it doesn't appear that there are many employees walking out - am I wrong? does it have a high employee turnover
?
I ask the question because I cannot seem to match the salary that their offering within Europe at the moment and I really don't fancy going to the middle east.
The offer of one month on/off is also very attractive.
