Has to be Northweald Fighter Meet Sponsored by Northwest Airlines who were celebrating their 60th Anniversary, a brand spanking new NW B747 flew past with a DC3 in old NW scheme, then the 12 WW2 fighter formated on the 747, 6 on each wingtip and did a couple of fly pasts.......brilliant!
Then working at Dhahran during the Gulf War was a pretty damn good airshow as well, especially watching the A10 Warthogs coming back from a missions and victory rolling.....
