Sorry to say, but Air Nigeria will not be killing Arik Air on the LHR route if they plan to use a 737. Lets not forget they abandoned the route because of losses they were sustaining on the route so it's hardly a given they will eliminate a competitor with lets face it a better hard product. Soft product is anyone's guess.
Quite frankly I think the govt aviation agencies are really doing a disservice to the Nigerian Aviation industry and it's players. It's almost as if when you get too big, you fear the govt and not your competitors. Yesterday's Virgin Nigeria is today's Arik could be tomorrow's Aero/Dana Air, etc. Ridiculous industry. All it takes is a 's'election.
