Nigerian aviation 'experts' have been banging on about the increase in pax numbers for years.
What doesn't add up is with all this extra business the airlines are still going bust...
If BA, LH, DL, AF, VS etc could post pax increases of 10.3% then everyone would know they are heading for bumper profits and dividends.
Just think what the Nigerian aviation sector would have been like without W3 and their 'funny funds' corrupting the sector and supplying too much capacity too quickly. VK & AJ would be in a much better place, with VK still sporting a global brand and gaining international market share and good yield on Long-haul that W3 can only dream of. AJ servicing the oil sector and still having full service. Even B3 might still be operating (maybe not so good)
The Big Boys in Abuja really messed up in the name of greed back, I hope it was worth it just to get rid of the 'black money'
