The Canadian Looney does make it a good deal, but beware!
I trained in Canada (B.C, lots of time in the rock pile) and it does give you a good skill level (for the hours), but the only thing that out numbers the trees, is the legions of unemployed helo' grads looking for that first slot. If you do go, then head West. If you don't train in the mountains, then your "slim chance" becomes "waffer thin". The most honest sales pitch I've read was from VIH on vancouver island that states "most CPL-H graduates will never find work in aviation" .
