You're getting Qantas Club & Chairmans Lounge confused - the first may be full of "gimps" using your words however you won't find that in the Chairmans Lounge which is still invite only from the CEO.
No I am not getting confused. I certainly know the difference between the Qantas Club and the Chairmans Lounge, and I am a Lounge member. And I stick by my statement that the Lounge is filling up more and more with gimps. I am aware of how the membership choosing takes place, I know how often the QF senior execs meet and make their recomendations to the CEO. Not everyone is 'hand picked' by Alan, or the former Dixon you know.
And the fact that it is not always what you know but who you know also comes into play. Not every Lounge member is a member of societies elite my friend.
