There is a lesson for the
PR side of our job. Given the weather, I wonder if a pre-warning PA was made to alert the pax to a possible GA? I wonder what the PAs after the event from the crew were like? I wonder what the handling of the aeroplane was like? If an AP GA is going to be an abrupt affair, then you'd better warn the pax beforehand.
While DM may have been over the top, it doesn't take much to genuinely upset passengers and we should put ourselves in their shoes more often.
