For the life of me I can not understand why EK screws it employees on the staff travel. It should be free in coach with free and unlimited jump seat travel. We all know why EK does this. First they want you to stay in Dubai and spend what little money you have left over. Another is that a lot of the 3rd world nationals at Emirates are very jealous that we get to leave the sand and they don't. Also the staff travel program is an another profit generating device to yet again screw its employees.
The school fees keep going up and up with the most American schools over 70,000 dhs and the British schools catching up very fast with their fees.
With regards to another thread you are not going to save very much money at Emirates.
