Preferential treatment no longer exists - Minister

The Minister of Aviation, Mrs. Fidelia Njeze, has said that the practise of "grand-father right" is no longer tenable in the aviation industry worldwide.
Grand-father right is the practise whereby an airline is given preferential treatment in the payment of some charges or certain privileges.......

Still no paychecks. It will be interesting to see how many pilots become surprisingly unable to perform any duties for Arik Air on the 10th !!!
