Dubbo across the back of the Warrumbungle ranges early in the morning is quite pretty on a nice morning, then across the Pilliga scrub and into Moree. From there track to Warwick (Fuel available, just phone ahead to make sure they are there at the flying school). Then down over the Gap, if wx is a bit dodgy there a plenty of ways through, but be careful if its really dodgey....stay at WCK.
Down around the Gatton way head around the south of Brisbane and into the coast.
