You guys obviously havn't read the post properly. I can only ascertain that I have hit the nail on the head.
Norwich needs a few air routes, oil related.
I am aware Southend is copying Southampton but the main point, as with most these airports is their location. Have you seen where Southend is? Who on earth is going to fly there? There is a big estuary to the south, a sea to the east, London and 4 bigger airports to to the west and everyone north will surely choose London. It would be convenient for the locals, same with Bournemouth but its not enough to sustain a substantial base.
