The empennage parts are possibly sourced from
Otto Fuchs KG in Meinerzhagen,
Germany; not sure where assembled. But I'm pretty sure that just the lovely precision tooling fixture supporting/aligning those frame stations cost more than my house and car combined.
Does make me wonder if
bearfoil's thinking might be tested with the proper finite element analysis using engineering data already in the Airbus computer.
