Considering the age of the type 42s, the fact that most now don't carry sea dart missiles any more, and the fact they are about to be replaced (at a ratio of 12:6
) by the type 45, I don't see how getting rid of more type 42s now would save anything much in the medium to long term.......
Especially as there are only 5 left as we speak.
