I agree. 7700 is saying "I am in deep sh!t!" (and usualy
acompanyed by a mayday call). Your not in deep sh!t by
avoiding weather cleared or uncleared.
I don't fly through Cb's. They are dangerous. If the frequency is too congested to request avoidance, and deviating from my clearance could result in a loss of separation, then on the contrary I
am in deep sh!t.
