Its a brand new HDD. Installed it 3 months ago 160GB.

I cant install the process explorer. Downloads ok, unzipps ok but when i go to install it I get the message.......Insufficient system resouces to get handle information.

Ive checked my virtual memory. got 1.5GB of virtial memory from 1GB of RAM. all the other numbers look ok. The biggest resource user is mcshield from my mcaffee anti virus.....think it was 125000kb.

Cerainly seems like a virtual memory problem as last time I left it running with no applications going, 6 hrs later the CPU was running at 100% just to show the desktop.

I have 1GB of memory, would going to 2 GB have any effect......or should I get the axe out and then buy a new computer.
