Gotta agree with Tipsy on this one. I, too, spent a number of years in MAS. The apathy and lack of understanding of employer/employee rights in industrial relations was indeed appalling. I am talking about the vast majority in general; most choose to bury their head in the sand and accept whatever that is dished out by the management. They do certainly have a few exceptional guys who have wide experience and very cosmopolitan views but most were just hilly billies raised to positions well above their stations by the government's affirmative action. As the goverment dole out goodies and freebies to keep the dominant populace happy, the sense of apathy was engendered.

The then management under TR in the 90's robbed the employees and shareholders blind and the pilots were traumatised by the " camel " regime followed by the so called pigmy. The pilots were totally impotent out of ignorance and fear.
