Bananamanuk - I don't know what RE are up to but on the face of it they have taken a successful route (one of their best an insider once told me) and messed it up.
I'm surprised you found an unfriendly crew as the IOM based crews (and I may be being a bit biased here!) I have always found to be very pleasant but I guess everyone can have their off days.
