Aer Arann
What's going on with Aer Arann's LCY operation? So far this week there was a technical problem yesterday causing some delay, and this afternoon's rotation has been cancelled, with delays to this evening's. And it seems to be becoming a more frequent problem. I know the crews work hard to make up time, but the cost of extensions to Ronaldsway hours must be eating into their profits.
The older ATR42s they now use appear to be much less reliable than the ATR72s which launched the service last year, and certainly less reliable than FlyBe's Q400s.
Are they now playing with this route, or are they serious about providing a reliable service?
