If you are using Thunderbird or a similar email program within your own computer, you should have an option to use the
view / message source tab which should show the entire email as it was received by your computer before the email program did all of the nice formatting work to "make it look pretty". If your can recognise the email message in amongst all of the other stuff (and it should be there in a block of text), then it suggests that your problem is with a local parameter setting as suggested by others earlier.
'Tis a strange one though - never seen anything like it before. These computers are full of surprises
