The original plan was to put in 4 bur as the new terminal neared completion Aerlingus decided said they wouldn't use them. The DAA then decided to drop the plan for 4 as a result. Eventualy 1 was ordered presumably as a sop to Cork. 3 more could be clipped on at any time but there isn't a hope of that happening while EI refuse to use them. The CAA could at least put in an some escalators to take people from the ramp to arrivals.
