Based on the information I have read, if you absolutely have to go to either EK or EY (no opportunities at home), EK would win hands down. Sure, EK ain't perfect, but at least you avoid the short haul nightmare of the A320 fleet at EY and you get to fly some heavy iron right off the bat at EK.

Neither choice is close to perfect, but EK still seems better in most respects... Flying an A380 at EK in 2-3 years wouldn't be too bad either.
