I'm seeing reports pointing the finger at the Java Runtime Environment (JRE) e.g.

this. Nothing definitive, but what I would do, in that situation, is uninstall all JREs and JDKs currently installed on the system, and see if the problems persist after a restart. Sun's Java stuff hooks itself in to all kinds of places.
