It depends on his experience prior to getting the 737 rating. If he has just got that and little else then he will be lucky to get employment in the UK. However bmibaby have recruited some experienced 737 FOs in recent days on short contracts.
It may not be an great upsurge in recruitment but for 3 of them it was a start!
