I can only agree, stick to the jet!
Even if you consider you'll be at command on the jet by the same time either way you choose, I would prefer build time on the jet and get command on an aircraft I know well.
Despite, I know many guys who are Captains a long time on TPs and not many chances to upgrade to a jet were offered, who were told by companies they rather upgrade FOs with time on jet...
And I would like to be sure the company realy upgrades you the pace you've been told, considering the situation in your coutry remains stable and your company sticks to their plans (not so sure this days anymore, even w legacy companies).
