Oblaaspop,the number of flights into Aus has far more to do with the $4.9 billion trade that the Sandbox does with Western Aus alone each year and the 15,000 ex pats living there than any policy regarding Qantas, its all about quid pro, nothing to do with open skies/cabotage/bilaterals.
