Mike Jenvey suggests that A380 could offer a 'smoking room'. Whilst I agree that monitored is better than hidden and dedicated air extracts would allow this, there is a differernt problem.
When someone has just finished a cigarette, the smell clings to them with a more than usually pungent odour. For example, at a train station - smokers on the platform having a few extra puffs to stoke up with their drug and then, drop the butt and get on board. When they sit next to me, I find it nauseating as the smell is soo bad.
