More than 50 emergency workers, tracker dogs and a helicopter have been searching for an Air NZ pilot who went missing on a tramp in Hong Kong.

I wonder why do pilots have to go on such " adventures " while on a layover. A macho thing? I certainly hope for the best in this case but I am sometimes amazed at pilots going into bungy jumping, alpine skiing, etc at layovers. Well, they certainly will have wild and interesting tales to tell in the crew lounges of their exploits but please do so on their yearly vacations.
