Night Owl, yes, I agree; I'm sure it's all down to personalities. I've had to deal with the staff of the GA Dept on a number of occasions recently. In particular, they have worked hard to get Rule 5(3)(c) permission paperwork to me at short notice, for which I've been very grateful.
