Works just fine in anything from a Tipsy Nipper upwards, G- old bean
, and gets taught to ab-initio RAF students at JEFTS and UAS's. You can fly the ILS the same way - it was taught that way at Prestwick when I did my IR - or the other way, which the RAF do currently. Take your pick.
