JAF con has answerd your question but I would add that at least one aircraft has been lossed due to an in flight fire that started in a toilet.
It is my understanding that this was the cause of a forced landing by a Varig Boeing 707 short of one of the paris airports some years back ,the aircraft burnt out and a number of the pax died.
Now I think you will understand why in my book smoking in the toilet gets an instant arrest and I hope a short jail term.
