Whether or not there will be a threat to the cointinuence of
Biggins annual Air shows is probably down to whether or not it is more
profitable to run the airshows - compared to any loss of landing fees revenue etc that will result during the days the airfield in effect will be closed for normal operations.


Biggin has changed out of all proportions in recent years. Since Mr Walters company took over the lease for running the airfield he has plans to greatly increase movements - including acceptance of larger aircraft and setting up of regular scheduled air services - against a very strong local residents objection who naturally have no wish to see Biggin evolve into another
Gatwick or Stanstead.

IMHO any threat to the airshow will probably be down to Mr Walters
profit and loss account.
