No, it appears to be current policy not to inform anyone. Its European Regulation, and its up to you to find out and comply.
There are some powerful unions involved who would take on the Regulator and they have money to spend on behalf of their members.
Then why aren't they lobbying their Euro MPs and the UK government to try and stop this process before its approved?
