In answer to RR's query as to whether it could be associated with the previous challenge via your delving into Belgian aviation, skytrain said "Could well have been!"
So could it be the Central Aircraft Centaur IVA ? A British biplane, powered by an Anzani radial, with a lot of similar features and finishing their careers on the Belgian Registry.
I can't find any photos from a similar viewpoint, but the one I have seems to be missing a strut between the ailerons and the rudder top is probably wrong but can't tell for sure as it's deflected.
