Well you have gotta see it from his (b737400) perspective. His pay in Malaysia is probably 1/3 of what the GREAT HKA will have to offer, and the A330 will be an upgrade to his present equipment. And most of all, I think he missed the most important key word of the thread title: DEMISED.
And btw, he's probably what HKA is looking for anyway, obedient and cheap labour.
