Good that the residents have their own bathrooms, Google Map shows a whole empty block next to the building, and you're right, it looks like it's in the desert! But they also had pictures of the park and the pergola thing there, looks lush, but maybe not in summer lol..
I'll pass the info on to my mate, she'll be excited about the description of the interiors.. and from what I have read here and what you have posted, it's good that the rooms are of regular size!

Being that it is, I believe all internet connections are routed via a server with Etisalat that blocks certain kinds of content. Would it be possible to apply for a Virtual Private Network in Dubai, or is that only possible from overseas? I'd like to consider the option before leaving for the Sandpit.
Any suggestions?
