Well, just how does Farnborough get away with restricting the altitude of VFR flights within Class G airspace? It has also been extremely difficult on occasions to get two-way with Farnborough before crossing the horizontal extent of the RA(T) anyway. If Farnborough can accept flight within the RA(T) 1500 QNH or below without communication then why not not just modify the vertical dimensions of that part of the RA(T)? Two-way communication would then not be necessary which would reduce Farnborough's workload as well as that of users. Now that chevvron has left maybe nats Farnborough could revise the dimensions of his RA(T)s to the benefit of all.....
