With Ryanair out of the picture for 3 months i really hope that the airport are actively now, seeking a new reliable operator to consider Bournemouth as an operation
Its been said many times that a 189 seater is just to big for some of the routes and a 150 seater is the way to go and even less for some domestic routes if they can find an airline to commit
Very difficult in this present climate though , and with Ryanair back in Feb no one i guess could get anything up and running by Nov
Prehaps Thomson may consider some extra routes this winter now as they have spare capacity on a few days of the week and would make a killing on the Alicante / Malaga route as they pulled off because of Ryanair
Palmair may well do the same . They are announcing at the end of July there winter programme , as they have been holding off on waiting to see what Ryanair were up to .
Even someone like Monarch would make a few £ by operating a W pattern from LGW to Alicante / Malaga both very popular destinations from Bournemouth
A terrible situation to be in for the airport so soon after opening the terminal
